Could we change “riding through the snow…NO” to maybe “Riding through the NO”? It just sounds better to me. Just a suggestion.
An esoteric idea:
“It’s midnight. There were supposed to be mice.”
And taking an old idea to extremes:
“Dashing through the NO!
on a one-horse open NO!
Through the fields we NO!
NO NO! NO! NO NO!”
